Fabrice Charretour and Philippe Bories have been appointed Natixis Senior Bankers

Fabrice Charretour appointed senior banker Fabrice will head the Financial Sponsor Group, jointly with Benoit Leplatre.

Fabrice Charretour started his career in 1992 at Banque Nationale de Paris in Los Angeles. In 1994, he joined the French Ministry of Finance’s Treasury department as head of public debt issuance and management. He moved to Société Générale in 1997 as Vice President Leveraged Finance in London, later crossing to New York. In 1999, he was appointed Executive Director Leveraged Finance for France, Spain and Benelux at Lehman Brothers, where he originated, structured and arranged numerous LBO and acquisition transactions across Europe. In 2008, he was a founding partner of Chromeurope, a credit opportunity fund dedicated to investing in European leveraged loans.

Fabrice, 42, is a graduate of French business schools Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, Collège des Ingénieurs and Ecole Polytechnique

Philippe Bories appointed senior banker.

Philippe will cover a portfolio of leading industrial clients.

Philippe Bories began his career in 1989 as an Armament Engineer in the Ministry of Defence’s French procurement agency (DGA). He later moved to the international department of the French Treasury at the Ministry of Finances. He subsequently took up the position of cabinet advisor to the Minister for Foreign Trade and then to the Minister of Industry, Posts and Telecommunications from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, he joined Schroders (now Citigroup) in M&A in the Paris office. Until the end of 2007, he was with Credit Agricole Indosuez as Managing Director in the Investment Banking department in charge of originating and executing M&A transactions and IPOs in the Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure and later the Automotive/Transport Infrastructure activities. Before joining Natixis, Philippe was a partner at Invicem, an independent financial advisory company.

Philippe, 47, is a graduate of French engineering schools Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées. He also holds an MBA from Columbia University.
