Pierre-Yves Perret appointed Head of Market Risk Policies at Natixis

He will be in charge of developing a forward looking, transversal vision of Natixis’ potential risks in relation with its capital market activities.

Pierre-Yves Perret was appointed Head of Market Risk Policies at Natixis’ Risk department. The Market Risk Policies team works jointly with the business lines to determine policies and methodologies to manage and monitor market risks.

Pierre-Yves Perret will report to Jacques Beyssade, Chief Risk Officer and member of the Executive Committee of Natixis. He will be in charge of developing a forward looking, transversal vision of Natixis’ potential risks in relation with its capital market activities.

Pierre-Yves Perret spent most of his career in capital markets. In 1988, he joined CIC Paris in bond market origination. In 1992, he was appointed Head of Origination, Syndication and Credit Trading before being appointed Head of Fixed Income, in 1998, and then of Trading at CIC’s Capital Market en 1999. In 2004, he took over the position of Head of Fixed Income, Forex and Credit at CM-CIC.

In 2008, je joined Dexia as joint Head of Capital Markets based in New York.

Pierre-Yves Perret, age 48, is a graduate of Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, of Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal (Mas of Sc. Energy and Nuclear Engineering) and of ESSEC (MS Finance).
