Nomura appoints Amanda Chen as Deputy Head of Wealth Management for Asia ex-Japan

Nomura, Asia’s global investment bank, today announced the appointment of Amanda Chen as Deputy Head of its Wealth Management Division for Asia exJapan.

With her extensive experience and proven leadership skills, we are confident that Amanda will successfully help me lead the Singapore team, work with other divisions and further enhance Nomura’s Wealth Management business in the region.”

Prior to joining Nomura, Amanda was the Head of Strategic Transaction Group at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, where she collaborated across the firm to deliver integrated services to key strategic clients in Asia. She held various positions at Morgan Stanley including Head of Private Wealth Management Singapore and she was also a member of the executive committee. She has also previously worked with Lehman Brothers in equity derivative structured sales. Amanda was appointed as a member of the Board of Governors for Singapore Polytechnic in April 2012 and is part of the investment committee.
