Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management standardizes names of investment products

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management (DeAWM) is to standardize the names of its investment products under the ’Deutsche’ label. The change will align product names with DeAWM’s global brand identity and help investors identify the firm’s funds.

The DWS Invest and DWS Invest II mutual funds, which are distributed internationally, will be renamed Deutsche Invest I and Deutsche Invest II by the end of August 2014, subject to regulatory approval. DWS products with a distribution focus in Germany are not affected by the name change.

In the United States, all DWS and DWS RREEF mutual funds, DWS variable insurance portfolios and DWS branded closed-end funds will be renamed ’Deutsche’ on August 11, 2014. At the same time, all db X-trackers exchange traded funds in the United States will be renamed ’Deutsche X-trackers’.

Starting in Q4 2014 and going into 2015, other countries in the Europe, Middle East & Africa and Asia Pacific regions will be renaming regional products according to the uniform nomenclature.
