Philippe Chanzy, 40, was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of Ossiam, the first European firm focussing on ETFs strategy. He reinforces Ossiam’s team. The firm will launch its first products in early 2011 after required approval by the AMF.

Philippe joined Societe Generale Group in 1995 after engineering studies at the Ecole des Mines de Nancy and a HEC Master of International Finance. Philippe Chanzy held several positions in the Capital Markets from 1995 to 2003: research engineer, financial engineer then fx derivatives sales.

In 2003, Philippe Chanzy joined Societe Generale Asset Management Alternative Investments. Head of a team of seven financial engineers, he is responsible for the design and structuration of products within structured management division.

In 2009, he joined Lyxor Asset Management, a subsidiary of Societe Generale, where he became responsible for the structuring of ETFs.
