Jupiter appoints Mitesh Patel as Assistant Fund Manager on Japan funds

Jupiter is pleased to announce the appointment of Mitesh Patel as Assistant Fund Manager, Japan Equities. Mitesh will join Jupiter on 3 October, supporting fund manager Dan Carter on the Jupiter Japan Income and Jupiter Japan Select SICAV funds.

Mitesh has 11 years’ investment experience and joins from Barings Asset Management where he was an Investment Manager, Japanese Equities, since 2013. Prior to joining Barings in 2009, Mitesh spent three years at BlackRock Investment Management on the Global Equities and UK Equities teams.

Dan Carter, who has managed the Jupiter Japan Select SICAV fund since 2013, became lead manager of the Jupiter Japan Income Fund in May this year. Prior to this he was deputy manager on the fund, having worked at Jupiter for eight years.
