Henderson Global Investors adds to the Global Technology Team

Henderson Global Investors today announces additions to the global equities technology team in Edinburgh.

Alison Porter joined the team at the start of October and has been appointed Deputy Manager of the Henderson Horizon Global Technology Fund. She will report to Stuart O’Gorman, Director Technology Equities, and will assume coverage of the computer hardware space. Alison has 17 years’ investment experience and most recently was a Senior Fund Manager at Ignis Asset Management.

In addition, Richard Clode, who joined the team in May, has been appointed as Deputy Manager of the Henderson Global Technology OEIC. He will also report to Stuart O’Gorman. Richard has 11 years’ investment experience and will focus on the semiconductor sector. He joined from Pioneer Investments.

Commenting on the appointments, Stuart O’Gorman says, “These senior staff additions represent our continued focus on our clients’ needs as our assets under management grow. I am very pleased to welcome both Alison and Richard to Henderson. ”

Ian Warmerdam, Director of Global Growth, will continue to provide coverage of the internet sector for both technology funds, while the additions to the technology team will enable him to increase his focus on managing the Henderson Global Growth OEIC and the Henderson Gartmore Global Growth Fund.

Stuart O’Gorman will remain lead manager on both technology funds and they will continue to be run on identical models.
